Want to know the top 20 sports in America?
There is no question that the top five should be exactly where they are, however there more?
- American Football – started in 1869 by the National College league.
- Baseball – Some argue this is the number one sport.
- Basketball – Taken very seriously by the Americans and the Russians, but bigger in America.
- Hockey – American s love this sport, never a boring or dull moment, explains America beautifully.
- Golf – It doesn’t take much to realise where the boom happened, it was Mr Woods.
- Wrestling – Well it gets massive views every weekend, loved by Americans.
- Tennis – Americans have always performed well in Tennis, with stars like the Williams and Roddick.
- Skateboarding – America helped this sport to reach glory, then it quickly grew.
- Surfing – truly advanced by the Americans.
- Ice Skating – A Sport in which men and women have become very famous for.
- Boxing – A great sport loved by all, but the Americans host the best fights.
- Soccer – Has only just really started to happen for the Americans, but they are keen to push forward with it.
- Archery – you may not have thought of this one, but Americans do perform very well.
- Volleyball – No man or Woman can go far wrong, watching or getting involved in a game.
- Cycling – A very tough sport, especially in competition with nations, but America sticks to its usual greatness.
- Track and Field – Americans have always taken this seriously and produced some great Athletes.
- Horse Racing – may not ever be as big as some, but will be around for, well probably ever.
- Rock Climbing – This is a great sport, and fun for everyone even indoors, Alain Robert has helped things out with this.
- Extreme Sports – These are the sports you have a high chance of being killed in.
- Auto Racing – If i were to mention all of them, they would take up most of the list, but bring on Monster Truck.
