With used diving gear once you have bought it, it’s yours and you can’t simply change your mind and return it. Buying from a private individual means you have no comeback if you later discover any faults of damage.

New scuba diving equipment is expensive but people buy it and sell off their old gear and don’t worry about how much they get for it.
