Get Your Child A Giant Mountain Bike

October 18th, 2009

Combining advanced technology and a large range of models makes Giant Mountain Bikes one of the leading bike manufacturers around the world. World class competitions, training and leisure riding all make use of Giant bikes with the world leaders in the sport choosing Giant as their bike providers. Not only are these bikes made for top class performance, but there are designs for the humblest biker. Their range of kids bikes suit every level of ability.

Kids can choose from two ranges of bike made specifically for children. The first are for little ones that have never ridden before and are looking for their first bike. For kids with a bit more experience there is a range of Giant bikes designed for fun and transport.

First Bike
For first time riders there are three bikes suitable for children. Safety and fun are combined in the L’il Giant which is a tricycle in loads of colours. The training wheels help with balance and there is also a long pole that parents can hold onto to stop the bike from running away with your little one on it. For little girls there is the PUDD’N range which has two bikes for different levels. There is a cute basket on the front, 16” wheels and removable training wheels on the original size bike. The smaller junior size features stabilisers and smaller 12” wheels. Animator is the final model in the first time riders range. This is the boy’s version of the larger bike and is painted in darker colours than PUDD’N without the basket. There is a junior and original sized version available in the Animator range.

Sport Bikes
Once a child has gained more experience on their bike they can move onto the range for older children which consists of the MTX and taffy range. The MTX comes in two sizes; the 125 and 225 with the 125 having 6 speed gears and 20” wheels. The 225 version has wheels of 24 inches and 18 speed gears. Both models use a suspension fork and Alux aluminium technology frames. Taffy is the female version of the MTX bike. Like the MTX there is a 225 and a 125 series with the 125 having smaller wheels and fewer speed gears with the 225 having more gears and taller wheels.

The quality and craftsmanship behind Giant Mountain Bikes will show in your improved performance. Your child will enjoy riding their bike and you will be happy that it is keeping them fit.
